On May 14, a 19-member Hungarian vocational education delegation visited Beijing College of Finance and Commerce. The visit was accompanied by Zhao Ye, Deputy Director of the Department of TVET Cooperation, China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE), and Wu Di, Executive Director of EU-China One Belt One Road Culture, Education, Tourism and Economic Development Committee. Zhou Yongyuan, Secretary General of the College, received the delegation, while Jiang Hong, Vice President of the College, chaired the meeting.

Zhou Yongyuan, on behalf of the college, extended a warm welcome to the Hungarian vocational education delegation. He pointed out that China's vocational education sector is advancing reforms in key teaching elements guided by industrial demands; the college remains committed to an open approach to education, having established an industry college at the Hungary–Central Europe Business and Logistics Cooperation Park and inaugurated the "Overseas Business School" at Budapest University of Economics and Business (BUEB). He expressed hope that, under the guidance of the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE), the college would strengthen policy coordination with the Hungarian Agency for Vocational Education and local institutions, engage in mutual learning and exchange, and cultivate the technical and skilled personnel urgently needed for the development of Hungary's industrial sector.

Zhao Ye mentioned that the practical training scenarios, talent cultivation models, and characteristics of industry-education integration demonstrated by the school-as an institution participating in the national "High-Level Higher Vocatioal Colleges and Programs" - represent typical examples of China's higher vocational colleges. As a council member unit of the CEAIE, Beijing college of Finance and Commerce has consistently played a leading and exemplary role in international exchanges and cooperation in vocational education. He expressed hope that in-depth exchanges in vocational education between the two countries would foster practical bilateral cooperation.

Representatives delivered speeches outlining the tiers of vocational education-encompassing both the dual-system basic vocational education and technical-the talent development models, as well as the current challenges faced by the sector; they expressed their hope to jointly explore pathways for vocational education reform in collaboration with China.

The delegation also visited the training rooms of the School of Business, the School of Tourism and Arts, and the School of Human Ecology, and spoke highly of the College's advanced practical training conditions and distinctive school-running characteristics. Deans of the relevant secondary schools, together with officials from the Academic Affairs Office and the Division of International Exchange and Cooperation, accompanied the visit and participated in the discussion.
